Meet Genevieve

I am Genevieve, I am 16 years old and I am from Greendale, Wisconsin. I am super excited to be a member of the 2023 Flight Crew!

I am part of several afterschool programs, including FIRST where I build robots and compete on two different teams! One team is a FIRST Tech Challenge team where we build 18-inch robots and one team is part of the FIRST Robotics Competition where we build 150-pound human-sized robots! I'm also a Girl Scout Ambassador and am working on my Girl Scout Gold Award to help bring STEM experiences to girls everywhere.

My favorite part of working with robotics and scouts is spreading my knowledge and experience to other girls by hosting STEM-based camps and classes. I even started a tax-exempt organization, Greendale Robotics, Inc., that provides STEM camps and classes to kids in our community. I also really love being in nature (camping, hiking, and canoeing) and exploring environmental sciences. Right now, I am working towards starting up an environmental club at my school.

I am looking into a career in environmental engineering, to use the engineering skills that I have learned to make the world a better place.
