Meet Lylah

My name is Lylah, I am a fourteen-year-old from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and I’m a member of the 2023 Flight Crew.

STEM is the biggest part of my life and I love how it challenges me in so many different ways. I hope to be some kind of engineer in the future and to put my love for STEM towards creating designs that can better our community as a whole.

I feel very strongly about advocating for underprivileged students who don’t have access to STEM education, and I act on this by presenting solutions to this problem, with children from all over the globe, to the United Nations as a part of an organization called the Children’s General Assembly.
