Meet Mayumi

My name is Mayumi Suzue-Pan and I am 17 years old from Wilmette, Illinois. I am a member of the 2023 Flight Crew and have been a tutor at Mathnasium for the past two years.

Being immersed in the math community and figure skating community as a competitive figure skater, I decided to create a program that combined the two: SKATE (Solving Kinesthetically and Transforming Education) for Girls. At SKATE for Girls, we teach math through figure skating!

Through being a Flight Crew member and SKATE for Girls, I hope to inspire hundreds of girls around the world.
