Cheers to the NEXT Chapter: Sending the Flight Crew Off to College
It’s the end of the school year and for so many 12th graders around the country that means the beginning of a new chapter - college. A number of our Million Girls Moonshot Flight Crew are off to study at some of the nation’s top post-secondary institutions and STEM Next is immensely proud.
The Flight Crew is a dedicated group of youth STEM ambassadors breaking down stereotypes, and inspiring their peers to explore the vast world of STEM across all 50 states. Their impactful STEM experiences beyond the classroom have enriched their lives and sparked curiosity and excitement in their communities. This is another moment of celebration for the power of youth voice and impact of out-of-school STEM learning.
Together, let’s celebrate this significant milestone for several Flight Crew members: their acceptance into various colleges and universities across the country. These young people have excelled in their academic and extracurricular pursuits and are paving the way for future generations of girls aspiring to pursue careers in STEM.
