Highlights from Girls Build Solutions™ 2024

Thank you for joining us in San Diego!

It was an electrifying three-days at the third annual Girls Build Solutions™ showcase. We are still buzzing with excitement from the experience! 
 

The Million Girls Moonshot Flight Crew, STEM industry leaders, Afterschool State Network leaders, and professionals from afterschool and summer programs from all 50 states came together to celebrate the incredible potential of young women and girls in STEM. 

Keynote speakers from Intel and NASA ignited our imaginations about the endless possibilities in STEM. Leaders from Qualcomm Inc. and Illumina provided our youth ambassadors with invaluable career advice. Partners from Aramco, Lockheed Martin, AI for Education, and Play Like A Girl motivated us to empower one million more girls in STEM.

We laughed, connected across state lines, and forged new bonds. We drew inspiration from our remarkable 2024 Flight Crew by engaging in design charrettes and design thinking. We jumped into a world of wonder and allowed our curiosity to roam free. 

Your passion for the potential of women and girls to create innovative solutions for a brighter future was truly infectious, and your commitment to OST STEM has resulted in the Moonshot rocketing beyond all goals and expectations set at the onset of the initiative.

Thank you for inspiring the development of a future STEM workforce through experiential learning beyond the classroom with us. You made this Girls Build Solutions™ an unforgettable event and we're excited to embark on our endeavor together.
